Today I made a bunch of Bacon for BLTs for the family. Got me thinking....why in the world do most burners love bacon. Seriously, its like an obsession. That I just have never understood. I may be weird, but I have never understood why everyone loves it so.
On playa, Bacon is like gold. It is salty, crunchy and protein. That i get. But in the real world, I just don't get it! Don't get me wrong, it is yummy to eat. But a bitch to cook. It's greasy and messy.
Good to see that you are blogging again. I don't know if you have a costco membership, or know someone who does. But they sell a precooked bacon. It comes with 48 to 50 pieces in the bag. Great for using at Burningman. I still heat it up, but it takes less time, and not as messey to clean up. Heck I even use it at home. I will pull out a piece or two at a time. I hate cooking bacon at home, and this is just easier. Happy Planning!
